According to the Russian Satellite News Agency, the Uzbekistan Foreign Ministry said on January 16 that China has invited Uzbek President Milziyoyev to participate in the second "Belt and Road" international cooperation summit forum to be held in Beijing in April.
According to the news of the department, Uzbek Foreign Minister Kamilov received the Chinese Ambassador to Uganda Jiang Yan on January 16 during which the two sides exchanged views on important issues in the U.S. 2019 agenda.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry website published a message saying: "The ambassador officially conveyed the letter from the Chinese side inviting the Uzbek President to participate in the second "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit to be held in Beijing in April."
The news released by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that during the talks, the two sides also discussed the practical issues of holding a high-level meeting between Uzbekistan and China in Tashkent.
From May 11 to 15, 2017, at the invitation of the Chinese leader, Uzbek President Milziyoyev paid a state visit to China and attended the first "Belt and Road" international cooperation summit forum.
